Course Description

This course describes the building of an embedded system on Xilinx 7-series FPGA. It explores the soft core and hard core processor from Xilinx, and the use of Vitis to design the system and build an application program that runs on the system.

This course combines lectures with lab exercises to reinforce the concepts.

Pre-requisites:

• Basic HDL knowledge (Verilog/VHDL)
• Understanding of C
• Knowledge of Xilinx 7-series FPGA Architecture

Course duration:

• 3 days (9 hours - 3 hours per day)
