Welcome to the Physical Verification using Calibre course. This course is divided into 8 chapters:
- Introduction to IC design flows
- Introduction to Physical Verification
- Basic DRC Concepts
- Advanced DRC Concepts
- Introduction to LVS
- LVS Text based Connectivity Checks, Soft Connection errors and Fixing Methodologies
- LVS Shorts and Open circuit errors and Fixing Methodologies
- Introduction to Parasitic Extraction and PEX Concepts
Each chapter has theory videos and where required, lab demo videos. There are also 8 hands-on lab sessions, which can be done over the cloud.
The primary software used in this course is Mentor Graphics Calibre. Some labs use Mentor Graphics S-edit and Mentor Graphics L-edit. Access to video content is provided for 1 month from the date that login details are provided. Lab access time is also included in this 1 month.
